I’m going to share this trashy behavior

Stopped in my local quickie mart to get some snacks. Run by a very nice but very strict Filapino family.
I walk past the sitting area and I see a middle aged white guy in a sports coat looking through the paper. I think nothing of it and continue back of the story.
I hear a “what are you doing here? You are no longer welcome here,” from the store owner at the front of the store.
I process to get my unhealthy snacks and walk to the front of the store where I check out.
As I’m checking out, I start talking with the owner.
Owner: “did you see the guy in the sports coat and the paper?”
Me: “yes”
Owner; “that fricker comes in here once a week and goes to the back of the store. He rifles through the paper. Leaves it. And takes the TV guide.”
Me: “Oh.”
Owner: “I tell him he’s stealing and he doesn’t listen to me. He says the TV guide is free. I explain to him that’s not how this works, that you actually have to by the paper to get the guide but he says I’m lying”
The most mind numbingly trashy about this is the guy could obviously have afforded the paper and a tv freaking guide? Of things to steal, things that are openly available on the internet?

What the frick did the Filipino family have to do with this story? Who the frick uses a TV guide? There is a button for that.
I don't believe any of your post.

Who fricking needs a paper TV guide anymore?

They owned the store and the husband was the one who confronted the man
As to the rest of your questions, you’ve got me. The only thing I can think of is his mother lives in a retirement home and he brings it by to her when doing his weekly visit. Just very odd.

I just like to read the TV Guide. Read the TV Guide, you don't need a TV.

If the motherfricker doesn’t have a tv service with a digital guide, it’s not so obvious to me he could afford the paper.

Your inability to spell or punctuate correctly is much trashier.

My neighbor announces on Facebook that she's going to pick up "unwanted" Thursday newspapers and then proceeds to walk around the neighborhood picking up everyone's papers. Doesn't matter if they don't use Facebook. Doesn't matter if they're busy working and don't get home until late. The bitch just makes an announcement and picks them up. She's done this for the last few weeks. Some people are either clueless or just plain rude and self-centered.

Still waiting to see where the Filipino family fits in to all of this.
