Worst way to look at this whole scenario.
Unless your only goal is to be a kept wife and have spawn.

Welcome to the present time traveler !
We don't have separate water fountains, we don't have milkmen, and we take things for a test drive to see if we want to buy them.
Maybe you prefer a "but what's behind door #2?" Approach but most aren't that naive.

I don't know why it's either/or with y'all. But, a career and family are often equal to women as far as goals.

Honestly maybe if you had waited the first time you wouldn't be divorced....food for thoight.

I'm guessing arranged marriages may be more his speed.

They were having sex before marriage back in the day as well. It was just hush hush.

Yeah but if she waned to marry him and she thought he wanted to marry her then it's bs.
Bc she could have moved on.
No one says "hey thanks for the 10 years, now I'm 40 and I wasted some prime time but what the hell we had a good run"

Would never have gotten married. I like sex. It's an integral part of the relationship. And if we aren't sexually compatible (as it turned out in my first marriage) it just gets bad.
I will never go back to being in a sexless relationship.

I know you really really really want to believe that, but it's simply not true. As evidenced by your own posts in this thread.

Yeah they're into pussies with actual college degrees who wear silk suits all day and don't turn wrenches for a living.
I never implied that manliness was related to jobs, education, or anything of the sort. Being a man is taking responsibility not only for yourself but for those you care about.

I'm guessing furied masturbation in a linen closet to a picture of Ruth Bader Ginsberg is more his speed.

so what went down with this? did lucky get stabbed?
Posted on 11/13/14 at 9:05 am to FuzzyTigerBalls
Yeah, it is. But, just because they want both equally doesn't mean it always works out that way. I don't believe that women can have it all in general. I'm not a feminist. They can espouse that mantra all they want but it's simply not true. One or the other takes center stage at various times. And they are often conflicting. Sometimes you have to choose one above the other. And that is not something that men typically are faced with.

Idk?
I read page one and then 36 on.
I felt compelled to comment bc I have a friend in the same situation. And I'm bored.

We don't know yet.
I'm thinking the odds are:
Didn't go through with it - 1:1
Went through with it - 5:1
Currently epicly hungover - 15:1
Currently hogtied in a bathroom - 25:1

I vote he didn't have the balls. Someone should point his girl to this thread so she knows what's up.

But only redneck idiots use the following quote:
quote:
They are content with girly men who can talk the right game and can tell them what they want to hear instead of treating them right.
Got a Facebook friend who is entertaining as hell and he always says this shite without realizing he's an idiot who can barely hold down a paper route. It doesn't matter if a guy can "treat her right". It's if he can provide and actually resonate with that person, which the tough part rather than just "treat her right". That's the loser mentality, because it's more about being on the same page than "treating her right".
