The first month off facebook is weird, and you have crazy FOMO. Mine has been gone for over 6 months and I couldn't be happier.

Addiction is real, whether to social media, alcohol, gambling, etc. I spend hours on that stupid phone every day. Need to give it up completely, I gave up dipping and drinking sodas for Lent because I didn't need it anymore afterward. I gave up alcohol one year, and drastically lowered my intake afterward after I realized how much I actually drank on a daily basis. Now it's just an occasional beer on the weekend, or when out to eat/social function etc. If I see that giving up Facebook makes me a better dad, husband, employee, then vamoose Zuckerberg.
