Yes, and I hate paying it but I also hate trying to juggle a cocktail, a cigar and a Roku remote so I can forward through all the damn commercials.
I have a lot of hobbies, interests, obsessions, continuing education or whatever you want to call it so I'm subscribed to around 800 YT channels.
Hardly ever watch old school TV anymore so I guess the 13 bucks is worth it. My research has shown that the "Brave" web browser blocks YT commercials very well. I just need to figure our how to access Brave on the 65" Samsung HDTV

I just refresh it once or twice. Rarely takes more than 3 times.

You can put a - between the T and the U and hit enter to bring up a nocookie version without ads for long-form podcast.
Can can buy a raspberry pi with a USB and program it to block adds on your wifi network too.

Premium includes youtube music. I dropped XM and spotify and use only youtube music at the gym and car.

Yes, that would work or simply mirroring/casting from my laptop to the TV but now I have to balance a laptop, a cigar, a remote and a cocktail. It's so much easier with just the Roku.
Why must life be so complicated? LOL

I just started using Tizentube.Haven't seen a YT add in two weeks and you can sign in like normal with it so you can find the stuff you watch easily.

I started paying a few months ago. Well worth it. I use it even more now that I don’t have to worry about ads anymore. And I click on so many new topics knowing I don’t have to sit through a 30 second ad just to see if it’s worth a shot.
