Glad you're alright. You'll be back to mud checking fools and hitting them with a ball peen hammer in no time.

Glad everything worked out and I hope you have a quick recovery.

Listen to your body. Until the cybernetic revolution happens, you only get one.

We are all glad you're ok. Best wishes going forward my man!

On a side note. I hope your local chapter makes a patch to put on your leather vest to mark the occasion.

Lost 20 lbs in fluid that had built up around my heart.

That is about 2.5 gallons. No wonder you could not breathe.

P.S. Kind of like being waterboarded.

The ironic thing is the bad valve is what was making me go into heart failure and sorta saved my life. I've had this valve issue my whole life. When I was little it was diagnosed as a "murmur".

I had this same issue on the aortic valve. Caused a sudden dissection at 18 even though the docs were still keeping an eye on me yearly. Replaced with a St. Judes valve. I've had it for 16 years now, longest "in use" valve is at 27 years, but is suppose to be a lifetime unit. I'm not looking forward to going through an upgrade at 45.

Glad everything is going good for you. Worst part is coming off the pain meds. You think your feeling all right till all the meds are gone nad you hurt in places you didn't know were possible still. That and not being able to lift more than 5 lbs sucks.
