Pretty skinny, to be frank.

Malnourished, even.

It’s the bourbon.

You are free to vote how you want but it's not exactly trending in your favor.

And my state has been legal for years. Don't really give a shite how y'all vote.

Why do you assume it’s not in my favor?

Yeah you have not made yourself very clear what so ever. Are you against marijuana legalization? If so, why?

No, I’m not.

My point in the beginning was, is....

Legalize it all day long, BUT if an employer is zero tolerance, it still won’t matter.

On the bright side, a lot of employers are starting to voluntarily abandon screening for weed in legal states. Obviously some fields will always require testing.

The petrochemical industry will never abandon screening.

They will have guys blow in the mornings on July 5, just because.

This more how it actually works in the real world. You don’t cure drug problems by adding more drugs to the equation. That’s a pretty moronic premise.

No by legalizing marijuana you pretty much close off one way the cartels make money. Sure they'll make more heroin or blow but that shite is far more expensive to create and you're not exactly going to be selling crack at the rate you'd sell a little bit of weed.

Damn it sucks that everyone in the country has to work at the petrochemical plant. Real bummer.

I don’t. I’m a flunky in the ranching game. I gave up petrochem 10 years ago.

I’m self employed, and also employed by my wife. She don’t drug test. I can be a heroin dude if I choose.

The point is, again, certain industries have impeccable OSHA records.

Other industries follow that business model.

And mainly want to cover their asses in case a work related incident happens so they cannot be sued

When the Federal law changes on weed you are going to see a cavalcade of state laws which stand up to judicial scrutiny that will the prevent firings on THC traces. There will be codified impairment levels which will be a fireable offense but low levels and traces won't be. The federally governed industries will be last to fall but they will as well. The groundwork is already being laid.

That very well may be the case. Intrusion is not the answer, but what will be the cut off?

Some folks high level may be the daily guys trace level.

I just don’t know, but I despise govt oversight.
