I guess he’s never heard the saying that you’ll never get rich working for someone else. What an idiot.

And to give some perspective on what a plumber can do. I had a plumber in my office not long ago for a meeting where he signed papers on 6 brand new Caterpillar mini-excavators to add to his fleet. These are over $50K each.
He paid in full for all six with personal check.

Sooo C-level execs at O&G/software companies will never be rich until their name is on the building?

How many thousand computer geeks are colleges pumping out every few months?
Now how many of them end up in Silicon Valley working for the next Twitter or whatever? Honestly, if your plan is to get rich by working for a software company, you might as well as try to strike it rich by going on American Idol.
What and idiot.

After rewatching it, it was on purpose. He still didn't stick the landing.

Outside of product engineering, how do "computer geeks" translate to C-level execs at O&G/software companies?
Look, you made your point. Not everyone that goes to college is successful and not everyone that doesn't is poor.
But to say an 18 yr old kid plumbing and riding around in ATV/motorcycle crews is the path to success, to each their own

This guy might be the most unathletic person I have ever seen. I would have landed on my feet running and not gotten hurt at all.

He doesn't have a business account?

The guy is an a-hole for riding his bike like that but...

Yeah. Looks like a white Impala PPV with push bars.

I guess it depends on your definition of rich, but I’ll take a software job over being a fricking plumber (from the perspective of someone who works as a software consultant).

ETA: I would like to add that I wasn’t laughing at or making fun of the guy for being a plumber, but I also think that it’s stupid how certain people on the OT glorify blue collar jobs and act like they are superior to going to college.

FIL is a semi retired plumber... Dude still banks in his 70's

Many of them are superior than going to college. Don't see where the mis-understanding is at on the subject.
Posted on 3/21/18 at 5:54 pm to Dick Leverage
You guys are comparing outliers with associates degrees to the average college graduate. That’s not how this should be looked at.

I'd guess his business leases them from the guy who owns them.
