Hell, no. I hate clingy women.

We text during the week.

I wouldn't mind that at all.

Only see SO on weekends...cam chat 2-3 times a week and off and on text throughout the week?

Not bad.

I mean, that's like basically living together if you have busy schedules!

Current BF is particularly into lots of contact. We text a ton, call, FaceTime a few times/day, and see each other 3-4 days a week

Friendly PSA for the OT men: when you're hanging out with your buddies, don't answer the phone every single time your SO calls you.

in a long term relationship? almost every day. unless someone is out of town and on a schedule that makes it almost impossible. it's pretty rare though to not have 2-3 mins to talk before going to bed.

what is an average time per day you expect to interact with him/her?

average? in town, in person interactions totally depend on schedule and day. might be as little as avg of 30 mins/day some weeks. if you live together, at least a couple of hours plus sleepy time should just happen naturally. if you live apart and don't see each other on a particular day, a phone call is fine. i'd expect sporadic texting any day though, but nothing set in stone.

what would you feel is a troubling amount in a day? week?

basically as soon as it interferes with my personal shite, it's troubling. if i want to go play tennis with my brother in law and it's a problem, that's troubling. if she needs me to go to the store with her every time, it's troubling. and for me, i like to do a lot of shite on my own. i was very up front with my wife about this, right when we started dating. establish the boundaries early and it makes the whole thing a lot smoother.

When me and the wife were dating, we lived 2 hours apart and only saw each other on the weekends most weeks.

In the beginning of our relationship, we did not call every night, more like texted during the day and call maybe 3-4 times a week.

Eventually it grew to calling every night.

Now I'm married so I'm kinda forced to talk to her everyday

Although we don't text or call each other throughout the day or anything. We only do that if its something important.
