There are any number of people I'd smother in their cradles to make the world a better place.

I would start Scientology, bilk Tom Cruise for everything he's worth, and then reveal to him how stupid he is

I'm thinking the ending of the scrolls would read something like this

"And as they stood before Xanthu, he uttered the final words 'everybody walk the dinosaur'"

This. Or the ineptitude or political slant of history teachers.

If I had no guarantee I could ever get back I would deal with it and find a way to be happy. Picking #2 basically is admitting you would just be depressed and kill yourself.

I grew up in the 50s and remember fondly those times. Still listen to the music of that era on SirusXM - many stations in the south back then wouldn't play black artists (think Pat Boone doing Little Richards' songs) - fortunately, the 250 watt station in my hometown played the Platters, Chuck Berry and the like. Cars were great, but there was a lot of junk (e.g., Nash Rambler). Would I go back - not sure, having to worry about the draft when I turned 18, worrying about catching polio from swimming in the city pool. Think I'll stay where I am.

The early ones, yes. And that one alone would be enough. I didn't say patent a smart phone

I'd probably make Bear Bryant change his career path so we wouldn't have to suffer through such intolerably arrogant gumps.

I'd stay.

I know how important sports outcomes will be, no need for an almanac etc.
