If you had enough money to pay off all your debts, would you quit your job?

No. I have a kid.

ETA: And also like what I do And want nicer things than I already have. And travel places I've never been. All that cost money last I checked.

No... how would I avoid future debt and pay for cool shite/experiences if I wasn't making any money?

Pay off the debts...just to go back into debt because you are unemployed?

No. But I'd quit stressing as much as I do at work.

I plan to always work. No bills, I would just focus on my interest.

No. The only debt I have is our mortgage.

Even if I paid that off, I'd still need to work for everyday expenses.

I'm saying pay off the house, cars, etc. Go work minimum wage somewhere and go home not stressed out and/or pissed off everyday.

Lol no.

If I paid off all my debts I would get a portfolio loan and buy 10 more rental houses.

No there's too much other shite that I want to do as far as travel goes. My plan is to be completely divested from my company by 55 and then I'll work a low-stress hourly job that I really enjoy, even if it pays shite. My doctor always gets on my case about lowering my stress levels, but it's not really possible right now.

I get the sentiment. Sometimes it's more than I think I can bear, but some days it's worth it, too.
