Not interested in working nights & weekends, but if I was going to select a restaurant franchise to operate, then it would definitely be Chick-fil-A.

I know someone who owns the one of the ones in Athens there is a lot of work to get one up and running and maintained, but you can be successful.

I don't believe you ever "own it" yourself either. Its like on loan to you moreso than other franchises that give more autonomy and the mothership gets a fatter cut.

Its actually very low compared to competition. Its just light years harder to get accepted into the role.

It's kind of like a quasi-enterprenuer role. You don't get full autonomy and you don't really own anything. But you don't really owe anything either, and as long as you stay within the lanes, you can basically run it yourself. You also are financially rewarded, the more successful you are.
But it's a hard job and you are expected to actually work in the locations. No passive investment here.

Thats because you are really just buying into profit sharing for one franchise. You dont own anything and can be forced out easily

I'm pretty familiar with CFA corporate and my answer is no.
But for someone who is less settled on their future and more open to how devoted to that business you have to be, it's an unquestionably great opportunity.

Idk bro, restaurant operators make out with a nice bit.
I’d imagine Chick fil A would be up there as their menu is very basic so I’m guessing food cost isn’t too high. They also employ a lot of younger kids probably making min. wage so labor costs aren’t too high either. Add in catering sales, which I think chick fil a does very well in, and that’s money.
