I too have a gun for protection and hunting. But these events certainly aren't going to make me go out and spend thousands upon thousands of dollars stockpiling for the next civil war
Hell I pulled out my shotgun last night because I thought someone was at my back door. Squirrel knocked over some stuff and it scared the hell out of me

Yeah but there's a race war coming, ISIS is taking over the continent and the Legion of Doom is getting back together!!! Don't be an idiot, get a gun.

Don't have one and this hasn't made me want to run out and get one.
My home is well protected though.
I also have no issues with anyone that wants to own one and have no problems with someones rights to own one.

Yes. The events of last night got to me enough that I'll be buying one very soon. I also travel a good bit for work and I would like something at the house for the SO just in case someone breaks in on her.

Not at all. I'm in the same boat (pun intended).
Transferred down here with State Farm, but just opened up my own agency in March.

very nice. I actually work for one of the larger public firms but think the long term play will be to go to a privately owned agency where I can maybe get some equity. I've always done commercial only. I'm in Nashville but when I do make a change, I'm thinking about moving to the coast, as I've mentioned. Where, idk.

I have a couple .22 rifles, but I've been talking about buying a pistol for a while now. In about an hour I'm going to buy a .38 revolver. It's time.

Crime is at the lowest in a half century. So no.

Dang. That's expensive.
Maybe in a decade I'll get one.

If you didn't own one before all of this you are dumb.

Not everyone lives in fear or in areas that they need to worry about using a weapon
