It’s not that they are “not very intelligent”, it’s bc they don’t care. They have way more important issues than to push and lobby for than legalization of a drug. Especially since it’s practically legal in most of the country.

Got to love the pothead "anti-lobbyists". They tend to forget that pro-weed lobbyists are working just as hard to get it legal. "But but but...it's for what I want maaaannnn"

This country is going to be f'd as this starts happening more than it is now. It's going to be a distinct difference between the stoners and non-stoners.

Companies being sued for weed tests, and firings. The new business plan for shady popular tv comercial dui lawyers.

Gawd the movie "Idoicracy" was genius. Every politician that is thinking about this needs to watch that movie.

They are feasible assumptions with time. Sad you dont think it's possible.

Just look at this board alone. It's a clear line.

Yeah. It’s just been really awful for Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington. Have had to shut them all down it’s so bad.

I worked with a guy who was 3rd gen oregonian, and he joked about how the new mantra for Portland is "Where 21 yos go to retire."

Heck CO seasonal employers are having more and more trouble finding dependable employees. COs economic effect was a bump at first until states around it started doing it too.

Anyway, your examples are stupid since those states legalized it, but it's still against the law federally. So people cant truly sue for work purposes yet. Once fully legal then that will change.

Give it time...

Because the people in charge are trying to figure out how they'll make money on it before they legalize it.

And it's that same shitty mentality that's created many of society's problems. You're actually paying thousands of dollars in taxes for prohibition. This country has 25% of the world's prison population. Yet we still don't live in a safe country.

The war on drugs is an epic, expensive failure. Yet you gladly accept paying for it through your taxes. And if you actually legalized it, it would create a huge economic boom to your local economy.

But nah. I've got more important shite to worry about. We've got a wall to build.
