That was my experience as well. And it probably was weird/sucked for her as well. But she was my high school gf for almost 2 years after that, and I can you tell that things got a whole lot better rather quickly after the first time.

I would not have let her talk me into it that day, and waited for another time, as I was already running late to meet my parents. I had to rush out the door immediately afterwards and leave my poor gf crying in her bed. Was her first time too, and I hated that I had to leave.
