If you could live anywhere in the US where would it be?

Thinking about moving. Things I'd like in my new city: affordable housing, big enough airport to get good prices on flights, good public schools, things to do.

I haven't traveled enough within the country, but of the places I've been, Chicago.

Dallas or Houston but really anywhere in Texas.
I love LA, but damn Texas is booming as frick right now.
If money weren't an issue for me at all, I'd love to live in SoCal like San Diego, L.A. or the bay area.

I'm actually very comfortable in Louisiana. If I were going to move elsewhere, the three things I would look for (that I cannot get in Louisiana) are:
1. More natural beauty (mountains in particular)
2. More affordable housing
3. A tiny bit of weather diversity (I hate cold weather much more than your average person, but I would enjoy just one decent snow per year. I hate snow, but seeing that first snowfall each year is always a nice event.)

I'll probably be the only on, and castiga ted for saying.... But I'd like to live in San Antonio.
Probably doesn't rank high with the listed criteria, but I think it's a cool city.
