I love my early Bronco. If they bring it back it's going to be a pussified plastic monstrosity with electronic everything.

The beauty of the classic cars is the (relative) simplicity. The beauty of the Bronco is the toughness. Neither of those would exist in a new Bronco.

My Bronco:

Can't believe it took this long for someone to post a Scout.

I'd love to have an old Scout and Bronco. Already have a CJ-7.

"Sunbeam Tiger"

My BIL had one and that was a cool little car to drive. He sold it to a guy who chopped it up and made a rally car out of it.

I've got a 64 Scout and a 70 bronco and they are my favorite vehicles. Goes to say something when my 12 year old wants one of those to drive when he hits 16.

Don't see many scouts out on the road. May want to keep that one for yourself and keep it safe.

I know what you mean. We used to use it around the property as a do all vehicle but restored it last year.

Thing has a 3 speed 196 and sounds like a small airplane to me. Hard to get it stuck and had almost no rust when I got it 10 years ago. Bought it off of a stoner LSU student for 300 bucks.

My friend down the streets older brother had one. His dad gave it to him before he went to Vietnam. he got killed and the old man never would get rid of it. The brother still has it.

K5 Blazer. I had two of these. A 1969 and a 1983. Wish I still had either one.

IIRC, the Tiger had a 260 V8, the Alpine had a 4 cylinder.

Pothead was at a store and I was on my way home from work getting a sixer for the ride home. Said he couldn't get it started and I helped him tighten the battery cables and it blew his mind.

Asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said 500. I countered 300. I was near rigid at the Notary.

I'll bet. Fine vehicles and you could work the heck out of them and they would keep going.
