If you could go back in time, what period would you wish to be born?

I’d go with Egyptian period when the great pyramid was new. Something about the Egyptian history has always intrigued me.

For curiosity's sake, yes.

The 1940's, so I could enjoy the 50's more...that's the decade I really wish I would have grown up in...

Why the 50's? Not knocking it, just curious.

Make me a Druid before Caesar made his way through Gaul. Sounds pretty rad.

Because you got yanked out of college and sent to 'Nam?

For me, about 9 years earlier than I was, so 1969.

Turning 18 in the late 80s. 70s childhood, no major wars that I'd have to deal with. Yeah, there was the interest rate issue and gas shortage but I'd have still been a kid. Technology as an adult but none as a kid, teen or young adult.

It would have been a good time. Everything was booming. Good economy, good style. The country was growing but it was still simple, it seems.

Except you have housewives putting ham inside of gelatin molds. What kind of fricked up world is that.
