I basically did this a couple months ago

Left a 12 year career and moved to Lake Norman to start a business/semi retire

half the time I never know what day it is anymore

If I was younger, I would be a fishing guide.

I was actually working on my taxes yesterday and saw that my employer paid over $22,000 for my healthcare plan for 2019....I was like "Damnit, that's more money than I will make at the margarita stand....well shite." Guess I'll have to wait until retirement after all.

If your life is miserable now it’s gonna be just as miserable running a margarita stand. Give it about 2 months and you gonna be saying damn I fricked up. There may be some bull shite feel good stories on here but most folks I’ve met or know who did that are still miserable in their new “paradise” Most recent one I can think of moved to Colorado about 2 years ago. Regrets the shite out of it, others to Florida, most are still miserable people.

Yep. Knew a couple people who went to Florida and one even in Key West. All miserable.
