It's crazy. That gthog61 or whatever is the same way. I don't know why people think they're making a point by insulting everyone they disagree with. I blame poor upbringing.

Bet you anything he wouldn't have the balls to do it in person, but feels nice n' safe hurling insults behind his computer screen.

Large cities are not sustainable. They suck up resources from elsewhere and are awful for the environment. No one can argue otherwise.
100% false
Cities reduce the amount of resources used by many fold

You know which city is going to have a natty next year? Baton Rouge GEAUX TIGERS

In terms of resources use and acquisition, cities require an extended network to deliver said resources to a location. they require extra construction, lighting, etc. The footprint in a city is actually more than a rural environment...AND you have a diminishing or loss of ecosystem services. even per capita. The aggregate is even worse.
Wrong

While I will not argue with anyone that says we have 0% affect on global warming, IMHO it is unable to be quantified bc the poles will change regardless and we do not have enough documentation of how often the climate has changed over the billions of years this rock has been around.

You know what you can count on? An LSU natty this season

They do on a per capita basis, not on a per-acre basis, which is the entire point of cities.

they only do on a per capita basis if you only address the per capita expenditure and not the shared effect of supply for certain services...and it gets even worse when you add in ecosystem services mitigation on the backend.

Does the city happen to Baton Rouge home of LSU home of the 2017 season national champs?

It is common knowledge that city dwellers use less resources. That's what the topic is... climate change from burning fossil fuels. Urban areas might produce more aggregate CO2, but per capita is less. Don't try to change the subject to density of water pollution, etc.
Keep laughing a-hole
