Crazy how many people are traveling when airfare and rental car rates are through the roof expensive.

Paulding was going to be the secondary airport but Delta lobbied to kill it.
The airport is undersized for its local demand. The roadways and parking are too small and hemmed in on all sides so it cannot be expanded. One way to help would be to open the international terminal check-in to all passengers (currently domestic passengers can only use it if carrying on). Delta doesn’t want the logistical headache of baggage makeup from both sides of the airfield.
