Will this finally open some people’s eyes as to the absurdity of the overreaction to the coronavirus? During a “pandemic” in which one of the biggest concerns pushed at the beginning and even still, is hospitals being “overrun” with patients. Hospitals across the country are hemorrhaging money and laying off staff due to “decreased patient load.” LINK LINK

As in they have not 1 single bed available or they have 50 beds available but not enough staff to allow those beds to be filled?

HHS
State wide
73% beds in use
15.8% with Covid

So is LGMC and OLOL.

All the clowns who think this is a hoax need to take a walk around a local hospital and maybe they’ll Change their minds.

Well that could be done easily if the hospitals weren’t preventing non-sick people from attending appointments or visiting patients.

No one is claiming it's a hoax, just over blown. Unhealthy people die all the time. But I shouldn't lose my life savings being forced to close while govt employees continue to make bank. All state and federal employees that are not essential should be laid off.

There's a difference between thinking it's a hoax, and being a little concerned that people think it's the bubonic plague in it's peak.

The conspiracy, as in narrative that’s not true, is that hospitals are overrun with covid patients.

Lake Charles Memorial is full with Covid patients.

I heard this as well directly from a pulmonologist. I'm trying to get some clarification though. It was said they had to create a covid ICU for 27 patients. I wonder if that is all covid patients or a total of 27 including covid. I understand ICU units are small in most hospitals and easily overwhelmed. It just seems crazy to me that 27 seriously ill patients in a city of 80,000 could overwhelm it's largest medical facility. Hopefully this will cause us to adapt in the future to these situations. There are several other smaller hospitals in town that hardly a soul occupies so we need to figure this out.

They had to turn 2 tower, the oncology floor, into a Covid floor. It got pretty bad in Lake Charles
