Part of the OP I talk about the overall impact of the woke movement entrenched in social media, academia, main stream media and so forth. Yeah, Black people are tearing up their own part of town of which so of us may not live. Turn on TV and be entertained, I get that attitude, but this is not a joking matter.
This is the united states, it's not okay these things are happening in the next area code of town.
Cancel culture, the whole woke thing is everywhere and the more we allow it to keep penetrating everything in our society (now big tech CEO's are leading the way), there is no escaping it's self destructive nature.
Each of us are impacted directly and indirectly if we keep shrugging it off or avoiding the "conflict" when we're face with it.
There was a study that found 75% of conservative students are afraid to confront their progressive teachers or professor on the political issues brought up during class time up due to fear of retaliation from the teacher grading their work. That's kind of sad, but it's a reality.
Are liberals afraid to speak out or clap in agreement with the teacher? nope. Are liberal teachers afraid to open up and let you know what they think is wrong about the world and what needs to change? nope...but a conservative who may have different takes on gun control, taxes, abortion, faith, personal accountability, oh boy...suddenly you're a target to be cancelled
Education should be a safe place to air out your political or world views on daily events and debate with out fear from classmates or the educator... you know that whole divisity "makes us stronger" thing. Actually divisity of thought is what makes us stronger.
Just being different races and cultures does not make us stronger..but the liberals tells us otherwise. That's why they insist we change our thinking.
The woke thing is bad news and if you're on a smart phone daily like most, it's inside your head challenging your thinking attempting to shape it or conform
