i'd just like to be home with my 1 year old, 3 year old, and wife. The kids would have no sense of anything, even if I told them. So, they'd just be playing outside, watching frozen, and eating a ton of chocolate. It would be a great distraction.

i would not want to know, but i doubt anyone would be able to keep something like that under wraps. It would come out one way or another.

I would like to know the day of and around 5am so I wouldn't be on the way to work and that's it. If it was any sooner, I would go crazy and the shitheads in the world would make it miserable. The news would be shitty (shittier) and I would be glad the Earth was gone.
It's kind of like looking at somebody too far in the hallway and that awkward moment when you don't know what to do during the meantime.

I also don't think the world would descend into total chaos. It is far more likely that we'd see a military police state every where prior to any announcement. And, if it is gonna take me 2 hours to get home from work, how long would it take the scum of the earth to find their way to my house?

So true, I'm military and I certainly know if the worlds end was imminent I'd totally be stoked to hang out on the corner. We all would. We don't have families we'd want to spend our final minutes with. Just more hurry up and wait to finish it all off.
