I finally watched the Lisa Ling show that aired a few weeks ago about the life of escorts who work at one of the Bunny Ranches in Nevada. There is no question, they were not super models or anything, just regular looking girls, but it was interesting to hear their stories and the reasons they decided to do what they do.

They all work as contractors. They have to pay a percentage of each appointment, then they have to pay room and board and for their weekly STD test. You would think they would all be drug addicts, but the drug addicts are the illegal prostitutes who would not be able to get a job at the ranch.. The ranch is selling more than sex, they are selling an experience which would be hard for drug addict crack heads to provide.
