Navy or Air Force for this kind of work. You'll get training you just won't find in the other branches. That's not to slight them, but Navy and Air Force technical training are simply superior in those fields.
I just retired after 22 yrs...I highly highly recommend you pursue a career as an officer. That's coming from a crusty enlisted senior master sergeant. Getting to E-5 will take you 4-5 years minimum (last promotion rate was 42% which is really high). Getting to E-7 (Senior NCO) will take anywhere from 12-15 years depending on if you've got your feces collocated or not.
Meanwhile, you can go officer and be a Captain in 4 years practically automatically and pull in as much money as I was making at my 20 year mark. You can be a total slack arse and make Major. Plenty of those 20-year Majors in the AF

Competition for promotion as either an officer or enlisted is tough. As it stands now, you're expected to be highly regarded in your particular job, pursue higher education (working towards associate, bachelor, or master...plus knocking out professional military education courses), and be involved in either community service (volunteer work) or base activities (professional clubs like AFSA, Top 3, etc.). Coming to work and being awesome at it isn't enough.
Also understand the Air Force has a bit of a leadership problem right now, but hopefully the new CSAF will get it straightened out. Leadership focused a little too much on machines than people the last 5-7 years (and way too much in the politically correct department), so the morale dropped a bit. I think it'll get fixed soon, though.
Best of luck on your choice.

If anyone has said anything besides Air Force, they're stupid.
Easiest
Best facilities
Treats enlisted guys the best
Doesn't go to sea (what I did)
Doesn't sleep in a shallow hole
Education opportunities galore.
It's not even close. The only reason to not go Air Force is respect.

Active US Army for 12 years here. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably go the Officer route.
If anything, be an Officer and don't go Enlisted.

BroInLaw just got out
14 yrs in Marine avionics
He did Afghanistan and Iraq and three pacific cruises
He got bored and did his last two years as a DI but the living conditions as a married DI were awful. My sister and their two kids lived off base 90 mins away. Many nights he slept in his truck because he didn't have a rack on base and finished too late, had to be there too early to justify leaving. He got an $80k buyout and walked way

I asked him about his time with the Navy on the boats and he said his days were filled with observing systemic idiots, sluts and homosexuals living on a floating steel pot LOL

Technically the USCG is part of the Department of Homeland Security. So the statement is partially right.

Vick knows more than I do. I'm not sure about most of them. Wish I knew what they all are.
He went to jump school at Ft. Benning. He is very well trained. He also trained somewhere out west to call in bomb strikes. He can fly drones and drive most of the trucks used by the military. His main job used to be operating a stealth boat and he trained others to operate it. He used to have to go over to the desert some. At least three times that I know of. He was also deployed to the Philippines. Has some Subic Bay tats from his time there.
He does nothing but training now. He trains other SWCC guys Seals at Little Creek to work with the each other and how to operate some individual crafts (jet skis) they use. It's some of the last training they get before they're deployed.

Coast Guard always trying to start some shite.
A few M16s, a 50. Cal, and a few boats don't make you the military. It makes you the Mobile Police Department.

if you can get into the navy nuke program then do it. if you only want to sign up for four years and learn a bit about electronics, enlist as an avionics tech.

Career Army here. Worked with every branch deployed and stateside and in professional schools. My two cents:
USMC - Best if you don't have any career aspirations. Incredible standards and discipline. If you are hell bent on four and door this is the best fit.
Navy - Lots of travel, away from home even in non-combat jobs. Technical training is outstanding, good jobs that transfer to civilian careers.
Army - Biggest branch. You can go balls out or be a nerd or switch back and forth. I've been in fifteen years now started enlisted switched to the dark side. You earn your benefits with a lot of deployments and crappy duty stations but I came in as a 19 year old piece of shite and it's been great. I'm getting close to retirement and have undergrad and grad degrees completed on Uncle Sam's dime, have traveled the world and met some great people.
Air Force - Nobody in the Air Force every says "Damn I should have joined the Army / Navy / USMC". I'll leave it at that.
Whatever you decide best of luck, the military isn't the best path for everyone but if you're spinning your wheels go for it, buy in and work hard they will take care of you.

Navy and there's no discussion other than joining the AF for the sake of bragging rights. AF is boring as hell and your all around opportunities are weak. Navy actually travels and visits other countries where as you have to get stationed to make the visits in other branches. If you qualify for the AF then join the Navy. You're gonna get one of the better fields, advance faster/farther, see the world, have more sayso in your duties and won't be constantly stationed in bumbphuck nowhere or some lonely desert. We have far more and the best duty stations hands down. San Diego, Wa, East coast, Hawaii and Fla are the main attractions stateside. Be we're everywhere. We're also the only branch that has commands on every others' bases. Don't sleep on Naval technology! Navigation and electronics and information depts are nice. Get into one as if you love it and you'll be a god. And if you don't like it, switch "ratings" and prosper, Nuclear rated sailors' bonuses and careers are nice too. I wasn't smart enough for that. Just a mere mechanical engineer. Naval careers are the only ones who's post service options are versitile and rewarding. After four years Naval service, you'ld rack up enough credits to fall short of a college degree. All training, courses and schools earn civilian college credits. And all departments and fields directly translate to great civilian careers. Not so much with the rest. Good luck!
