I'd like to be a groundskeeper. Or a farmer.

I don't know anything about the depts in that area. I would imagine Lafayette and lake Charles to make more because they are the more populated areas. Also, are you talking starting pay? Because anywhere you go in the fire department you aren't going to start out very high. Once you have your proby year under your belt and you start getting certifications (depends on the department on how much you get per cert) then you will start seeing the pay increases. Also, most depts make their FF become EMTs and that's a good pay bump a year. And if you are a paramedic its a huge bump in pay but it might take you out of the action. I know lots of guys who have been on the line for 15+ yrs and are making $75k+ from just the dept alone. Like I said, it all depends on where you are working. But the real money is made on your side job. Most firefighters only work 10-11 days a month at their respective dept so that leaves ample time for a secondary income.

Cut grass. Such a relaxing thing to do. Grab some headphones and throw on the Cubs game and I'm set for an hour.

Teaching's another good one. It seems like it would be a really fun and rewarding gig if it weren't for all the bullshite administration, shitty kids, shittier parents, and shite pay.

I could see myself being an adjuct professor when I retire.

Another good one would be travel. My dream job would be to host a show like "Anthony Bordain: Parts Unknown".

Second would probably be cutting grass.

You can make a good honest living doing that.

I'd like to have a YouTube channel like Jay Bates, Izzy Swan and my favorite Jimmy Diresta.

Draw up some plans
Make it
Edit the video
Get paid.
All shite I'd be interested in.

There many things I would love to do other than sit on a drilling rig away from my family 6 months out of the year. I am working on one of them now so maybe soon I will be making a living at something I enjoy.
