We should have long been back to 2019 levels (or even just to pre 1st term Trump levels), but covid spending and restrictions were made to continue to way past what was needed for political reasons.
Dems also want to make covid spending including the covid subsidies for Obamacare and the covid lowering of restrictions on who can receive welfare including how it removed the work requirement the new normal level for welfare spending and starting point for any negotiations (along with removing the BBB penalty for states funding illegals using Medicaid)
Dems are still the covid party for illegals.

Not good.
For every welfare queen or slob we see using them, and I make fun of some of them too, there are people who genuinely need them.
This is a real problem.
I have a friend who is pretty badly disabled. He and his wife draw food stamps for her 2 grandchildren that live with them, because their parents are in jail for some stupid crap.
They are going to have a rough time without that help.
They are well liked people and I'm sure they will get help from the community, but how long will it last?
