My assumption would be the center of each is placed in the same spot, that would make the most sense.

women'd periods would likely be even more fricked up than the moon already causes

yeah that's what I figured too. I wish we had two or three moons to look at but I guess we should be content that we have one instead of none.

It is, but see here for every planet if they were lined up end to end from the Earth to the Moon. There's a lot of distance between us and the Moon.
