Wait until she gets in the shower, then walk in and throw a huge glass of ice water on her. When she is through screaming, do it again.
When she comes out tell her that you have now actually done something for her to be angry about. Apologize, then ask what can be done to receive her forgiveness for the ice water.

I find it hard to believe that you would ever be in trouble..But then again, your SO IS a female woman girl.

I appreciate that you appreciate such a simple and sincere remedy. Now if Kenneth could only extend his winning streak.......

What, that's it?
Easy fix.
Here's what's going on. Your wife is misinterpreting you, most likely because you won't shut up. My guess is that you may have know-it-all syndrome. Now, look, I'm on your side. I want to help you, not insult you. But take a look at that. That's my hunch.
How to fix it? Just acknowledge her and make a gesture. Here's what I would do. Get a little money together. Tell her, "Baby, I've been thinking a lot lately about how much you mean to me, and I want us to go have some fun, just you and me." Take her to the nearest big city, get a hotel room, see a show or a concert that she's wanted to see, and light those flames, man. Slow play that shite, then burn it all down. You will be set for months after that.
Then, after that, make sure you do something with her at least once a month. Take her out, go somewhere outside of the house. Couple of times a year, take her on a trip.
Women love to be transported outside their routine. Take her to another place and be in control. You plan everything. They fricking LOVE that.
This will work. I'm old as shite, and I live like a king in my house. This is wisdom from Olympus. Use it.

Let her catch you wearing some of her high heels and smelling her dirty underwear. Guaranteed she will forget about what you did to piss her off

Doesn't happen very often. Rarely, actually. But I know when it's time to come home with some flowers.
BTW, these whippersnappers ought to know this axiom: When in a disagreement with your wife, if you're bound and determined to be the winner, that means you're sleeping with a loser.

Ignore her for a few days and she will come around, then something else will set her off and you rinse and repeat. My wife will get mad about something and won't tell me why she is mad and gives me the silent treatment. I hate to inform her but the silence treatment doesn't work on me and I can go days without talking and the silence can be glorious.

Went this route about an hour ago. Holiday Kisses Christmas Bouquet arrangement and a ludicrously oversized teddy bear.
Will be delivered to work, that should be sufficiently embarrassing enough to receive in front of her coworkers. Hopefully enough to spare me the restless diatribe as well.

Hope it works for you.
Works much better on me than the ignore the problem until it goes away method. I sit and stew and the longer someone waits, the worse it is for them

She's pretty much the same. Better to be proactive rather than reactive.

Yep
Gives me more time to plan out my argument and prepare.
Now, I don't scream when the time comes or get crazy. Just calmly lay out the facts
