Lol. I changed it to golf ball so I wouldn’t get a response like this.

But the question is, what is causing the feather to drop more slowly? Its mass or its air drag?

Can forensics compare the cuts on the dog to those of the murdered students in order to determine if the same knife was used in both crimes?

Maybe cuts in bone to determine if it was similar.

I’m not replying to a particular post. I’m just sharing some thoughts I had from my perspective as a woman.

I would not be at all surprised if when the surviving roommates awakened, they sensed that something was off. Maybe the smell of iron in the air, maybe just a weird stillness or silence, and were somehow spooked from investigating the upstairs. If I’m in that situation, I am staying put and calling someone (preferably a male) to come check things out. When women get that hinky feeling, we often listen to it and do not investigate. It is possible their subconscious minds picked up on some signals that things were amiss, and they called a guy to come check things out. Then the 911 call followed.

It is also possible that they did venture upstairs and saw someone and some blood and then retreated back downstairs. Sometimes the brain can’t comprehend the horror of what a person is seeing and will cause that person to say things in a state of shock that don’t always make sense to a rational person (seeing an unconscious person versus a stabbing victim).

These are just some thoughts I had that might help explain the weird behaviors the surviving roommates exhibited.

These murders could well be the work of the sicko who skinned that Australian shepherd in the neighborhood. It take a truly psychopathic person to commit those atrocities.

The longer it goes without a suspect the more it looks like the possibility of a psycho.

I didn't think so at first, but it either takes a psycho or someone with a lot of hate to do what they did. And it seems they've ruled out most of the people close to them that could have held that type of anger towards them.

Can someone give me a quick, bullet-point summary of what's going on? I've very passively followed this. All I know is that 4 students were killed in the middle of the night. I also briefly watched the YouTube video of the two girls ordering food at the food truck with that guy lingering around them and bolting off after they left. That's really the extent of what I know.

1. House is a split-level 3-story duplex with a patio sliding door leading to second level.

2. On the morning of November 13, the first floor roommates discovered the three roommates upstairs dead by stabbing along with one of their boyfriends. A pair of bodies on each of the second and third stories.

3. Police have “ruled out” the downstairs girls, the food truck guy, the driver, and a boyfriend of one of the victims to whom the victim makes a series of ghosted phone calls between 2:30 and 2:52.

4. Coroner places time of death at 3-4 in the morning.

5 girls live in an apartment.

They all take a picture together on the evening before the murders with one of the girls BFs.

Two go to a bar, the couple goes to a party on campus, the other two go out of town separately.

They are all back home by 1:45 with the BF.

Between 2 and 3 the two that went to the bar phone one of the girls ex-bfs but never reach him.

Between 3-4 someone stabs the couple and the two that went to the bar on the 2nd and 3rd floor in their bedrooms of the apartment that could be entered on the 2nd floor through a patio door.

The two that survived were on the first floor in their bedrooms with the doors locked and apparently sleep through it and don't call police until around noon the next day.

The BFs(ex and current) of the two girls that went to the bar have been highly supported as not involved by the families, a guy they were seen with at the food truck has been ruled out, and the Uber driver that took them home has been ruled out. Also the roommates that survived have been ruled out.

Not really. Nothing from the police, but generally, it “feels” like it’s the work of a Danny Rolling-style killer.

Rolling was the Gainesville Ripper of 1990. From the off-campus housing in a college town, to the sliding door entry, to the mention of a Ka-Bar type knife, it bears a strong resembles to Rolling.

Has the BF been officially ruled out?

Thought everyone else had but he oddly had not other than the family supporting him very publicly.

Well, to be honest, I can’t believe anyone has really been “ruled out” in less than a week with so much evidence left to process. But if the family of the victim is going to bat for him at a time like this, it would be crazy if it turned out to be him.

Phone calls at 2:00 am are more normal than weird for college aged kids. You can’t think of that situation through the eyes of an adult aged 30+. These kids don’t go to bed at 10 pm.

I wonder how long they’ve know about the dog and already had connected those dots. Could have kept it quiet while looking for similarities or a connection.

It's been brought up the dog wouldn't make noise if it was the boyfriend...

Thought that was interesting but also could have been a dog used to tons of people coming and going from the house.

Also entirely possible the roommates ignored or didn't wake up when the dog barked given how many people come and go from a house like that.

You def learn to sleep through a lot in those types of environment, especially if drunk .

I was at AU when Rolling hit UF. Loved with my girlfriend there. I used to have dreams about that case- it was scary as hell at the time

The police said in the press conference yesterday that the roommates, guy on video and ex boyfriend have all been cleared.
