Grassy knoll believer???

Absolutely not. I find it hard to believe a competent officer would transport the guy with a weapon in his possession.

I am not saying it is a conspiracy, but i actually think it is very normal to think this story sounds fishy. If anything, it shows respect to Cops in thinking this is a cover up. I for one didnt think most officers would be dumb enough to not find a gun on a person after they searched him and found drugs

Exactly. I think believing this is a coverup actually shows more respect to cops as a whole

I think most people would believe the story is fishy.

Beleiving it is a coverup means i think this could possibly be a roque cop. Beleiving that it inst a cover up means i assume all cops are dumbasses who shouldn't be allowed to even receive a drivers license

Is there a theory that isnt far fetched or abnormal? I guess its all in what a person feels. I for one dont watch "cop" shows and base my feeling for them off of my personal experience. Some good, some bad.
A person who watches a lot of crime drama type shows and movies will start to believe that the drama in those shows is exactly how things happen. Cover ups, dirty cops, etc.

I have no problem with prejudice. Im prejudice against certain things due to negative personal experiences with them. I try extremely hard not to base it off of what I get second hand ( tv shows, media, unreliable sources.)

Its funny how so many people on here bash the mainstream media until whats being published fit their agenda

By thinking most officers are far more competent than that? I think it is.

I believe it is good to be skeptical of everything you read. I would suggest waiting for the investigation to be completed before passing judgement.

Most are. In fact, this one involved may be 99.9% of the time but on this night he slipped and it should cost him his job imo

And that is why i agree with you. I feel if someone such as yourself could get in a leadership role and be the public face of a police dept, it would go a long way in the way the public feels about cops

Media really hasn't published much. The linked source wasn't mainstream.

A guy in Jonesboro Arkansas was killed in a very similar fashion, hands handcuffed behind his back and was shot in the right temple. There are reasons people are suspicious of unlikely events.

I know you're defending fellow LEO and all but I don't think you realize how truly shitty that department is.

Shitty enough to miss a gun in a search, absolutely. Shitty enough to commit murder and try to cover it up? Sorry, I'll home for negligence on behalf of the officers until proven its malice

So basically the best case scenario is that these cops are just incompetent?

Did you know they had the FBI and DOJ in town last fall? That the same sheriff's dept watched some guy die in jail b/c they refused to get his medicine? All in the past year. Yeah, bet you didn't.

And what does that have to do with this? Zero

Who are you kidding? This board calls every department shitty and every officer shitty.

Not true. But I think most people are getting frustrated with bad cops being protected. I would think all good cops would be more critical of the bad element. Here in Alaska, misconduct doesn't even have to be made public.

There's a reason the public has lost so much faith.

How are they being protected? The investigation is currently underway!

I haven't seen one officer on this board not criticize this and we don't even have the investigation findings yet!

Many of you remind me of Don Quixote and all cops are apparently your windmills.
