I mean, this storm is 9 days out and it consistently keeps shifting westward and digs deeper into the gulf on models before it makes the NE turn. The models seem to like that theory right now but what's starting to get me scared shitless is they're showing the ridge building in stronger and if gets too strong we're in deep shite.

Historic storms at this time of year support a Florida landfall so it makes sense. It doesn't seem like many hit Tampa. When is the last time Tampa took a direct hit serious question?

Irma ran up FL and went through Plant City in 2016.I am west of there and got 105 mph, with a couple 120 gusts recorded at one airport.

You shut your whore mouth. The What if Models show that a cat 3 hitting Tampa would put 14' of water in the streets of downtown Tampa.

Karma for what Mike Evans did on Sunday.

That being said, you are right. I am really not sure what could be done outside of federal government intervention if another major hurricane hit here. Louisiana Citizens cannot hold up to a mass claim event, especially with all the new business they had to take on in the last few months

Sure would be nice if we could get that $50 Billion+ back from Ukraine

Can we just compromise by throwing Evans in the gulf for the storm to fizzle out in MX?

We have less than you may think. A ton of insurance companies here have closed with roofing scams recently. I even have to find new coverage, since our insurance is dropping hurricane coverage.

Protecting "God's QB" will be remembered when paths are chosen. Tampa ABC's weather guy said this sumbitch may keep moving SW into S. Amer., and never form up. I am also OK with it hitting the Bay of Cam Peachy.

I mean we don't want it to hit someone but based on everything shown, someone is going to take in the arse and we can't really handle anymore jail rapes by storms. A lot of people got fricked by Ida insurance companies then Laura year before and now many insurance companies have left the state.
