It was more than likely Hondurans. There seems to be more of them than Mexicans here.

So a bunch of people were working hard on a Saturday rather than posting on the internet.

As a distinguished interpretive reader, I can accurately surmise that you are referring to the congregants of that bahai faith compound next door to the poboy express off Perkins

Their English is better than what you’d hear in certain other parts of BR

Wait until you go to a new house development. 200 houses being built, two guys speak English. The GC and one Hispanic.

I work near Bellaire in Houston and the amount of Mexicans outside looking for work cannot be exaggerated. I bet there are close to 200 of them in the morning and about 50 at any given time during the day.

I consistently work with hispanics (the house building just trying to feed their family types)

They know a lot more English than they let on. If they demonstrated they knew English, boss man would talk to them more. Who wants that?

Yes, and they also pay as much in taxes and take out as much in benefits.

NBR folks got to fund that used C-class Benz, Nissan Altima, or Honda Accord somehow, while driving around BR uninsured hoping to make that call to Gordon to get that payday from a fender bender.

Unless a 3 legged dog walking sideways was moving through the aisles you were not in Mexico.

Always look for the gimp dog for confirmation
