At best most people thought he was just asking for change like a lot of people do on that corner. 11/12 people thought that the story that Jackson cut him while robbing him was a lie.

I don’t know any fellow jurors’ names. We share anecdotal things about our lives and we knew each other’s names because lunch would show up and they would announce it.

Not singling you out, but this seems to be pretty common.
There's obviously not better systems in the world, but man for something this serious there's got to be a better way.

The only thing they didn’t present was the initial interaction between Jackson and ward that led to the altercation. They presented witnesses that saw Jackson walking down the street and ward beating Jackson.
Ward put up a pretty unbelievable defense about being cut by a pocket knife while Jackson was robbing him but the knife was in Jackson pocket when the cops found him and ward never said anything about being robbed when the cops found him in the parking garage.
