As a show of solidarity, I'll stop drinking with you. We'll both struggle through this together.

i quit smoking pot for a month, but back on the pot train. Had two bad experiences near each other.

generally one bad experience isn't enough to quit drinking, you need a repeated pattern of bad decisions. And for most people, it never gets to that. For some reason, some people just are stupid when drunk and need to quit. I have a friend like that, completely great guy....get 3 beers into him and he acts like a fricking retard. Dui, hospital visits, fights, getting dumped by his g/f. all due to him not being able to control it while drunk.

I have one of those "I'm never going to drink again" mornings probably once a month. Give yourself a couple of days and re-evaluate. Quitters never prosper, remember that.

I think you're a terrible troll, but it's a reasonable topic.

I have slowed a lot in the last 6 months. I don't get like that too frequently, but it just started causing too many problems and I decided I couldn't be an adult and keep acting like that.

I still drink, to excess, but I don't go spend all day slamming liquor drinks or craft beers like I used to on occasion. It's the length of time that got to me, not the need to pound drinks. Basically, all day sporting events or days at the lake, etc.

never start drinking before 5pm is a smart way to party. Honestly I am closer to 8pm now.

Yeah, I've got a pretty bad regret from yesterday. I was totally in the wrong, acted like an arse and feel like shite about it today. I am trying to find the person (a stranger) affected and make it up to him.

Which sucks because I really enjoy day drinking and calling it an early night. The problem is that I won't, it'll be 10PM with my GF wanting to leave and I'll be obliterated sneaking around taking shots. I don't even enjoy being that drunk.

I do agree with you though, I have no problems when it just involves going out to a bar with friends or going to watch a night game. It's when we're all going to watch a days worth of games at 3 different places that I lose control.

You can trust a man who has quit drinking, but not one who has never drank.

The point a man gives up on drinking is often the same point that the binge sessions of furious masterbation begin.

I do day drinking once a year - st paddys day. That is it. the rest of the time I might have a beer before 5, but not more than one.

And even starting at 5pm is dangerous for me. Last two times I started that early and continued (may / june), bad shite happened. Stuff that still haunts me.

I started drinking Saturday after I left the gym.

I drank until I walked into the stadium.

Do some frickin cocaine like an adult and quit being such a pussy.
