After someone tried to rape my sister?

Do you even have a sister?

I'm as even-keeled as they come. Only been in one fistfight my entire life. But I promise you I would be trying to literally cave in some dude's skull with my bare hands if I caught wind of him doing something like that.

the OT is notorious for saying no you wouldn't with these types of cases...why can't most just say "frick yeh dude got what he deserved" sure if it comes out to all be a lie we will want the brother to go to prison...now if his sister lied to him and caused him to beat the guy she should go to prison.

And they are right, you wouldnt. Look at all the crime committed across the country. It is extremely rare for a family member to retaliate, and when they do it is big news.

There are actually studies showing how full of shite this thread is

We need more information on this. Maybe I'm way off base, but I think I'd handle it much differently if a guy actually raped my hypothetical sister than if he "attempted" to do so.

Its usually because they don't know who to look for or the person who did it is gone.

Also, thank God all those falsely accused guys that get exonerated werent accused by the OTs sisters in this thread. Poor guys would be dead for no reason

IDGAF how it's perceived or if I'm off base or not nearly tbh

I'm either situation, I know I'd be ready/willing to turn the guy's brain to mush.

I have 4 sisters and I am dangerous to anyone who means harm to any of them.

I guess my point is that the near death beating for a rape is understandable, but it could be a little much depending on how far this attempted rape went.

Will post later.

it's also just a stupid thing to do.

that dude beating the frick out of the guy deserves to go to jail, and he should go to jail. in america, we have laws and a procedure for determining innocence and guilt. it's what separates us from a lot of shitty countries.

that dude won't do much good to his sister and the rest of this family sitting in jail.

I said the same thing in a thread last week about the guy who ran over a guy who robbed him and caught all kinds of flak. Dude ran over the guy quite a while after he left the scene and was no longer in danger and everyone thought it was well deserved.

So, no due process of law, we take this guy and his sister's word that this guy "raped" her as justification for basically beating someone into near vegetable state while they are unconscious. This board sometimes I swear...

that's the other part of this thing.

isn't this board always quick to defend a guy who is accused of rape until all of the facts come out? innocent until proven guilty?

this seems like an OT contradiction.
