Only place I’ve been other than work in the last month was Lowe’s At work, I share an office building with 6 other people but we are all in separate offices.
Did you tell those 6 people you got the ‘VID?

I go this afternoon for my swab and antibody test for Phase 2 of University of Louisville’s Co-Immunity Project. Said they’ll get swab results in 48 hours and will contact if positive. Antibody test results will take about two weeks.
Kind of excited about it given it’s for research.

The antibody test isn't necessarily helpful for C19. Covid is a common virus that comes through every year, possibly multiple strains. If you have been infected by another strain, you will have the antibody. It may not be for C19, though.

If the symptoms of Covid are true that I’ve heard other people describe, then you are about to get a small taste of what junkie dope withdrawals are like. I feel for you OP get well soon man. Hopefully you’re one of the ones that doesn’t get sick.

This is through the University for research purposes, so from all accounts their tests are of better quality then what I would purchase on my own.
They’re using it to track spread in the Louisville area as well as to determine plasma donor pools. They’re also trying to gauge exposure rates and how much immunity is gained by that exposure (such as high viral loads like healthcare workers).

Natalbany did your family get tested? Just curious.

No, I called the doctor's office this morning to find out if they all needed to be tested and was told it is assumed that they all have it now and should also self quarantine for 14 days. Testing is not necessary unless symptoms show up.

U of A is also doing a similar study and they are wanting healthcare workers to participate(free of course). They have a testing site set up at my facility as well as multiple other sites all over my region.
I’ve been wanting to sign up for up but have been slammed at work.

Yeah Abbott and a couple others are at 99% specificity and sensitivity. I got my results back next day from an Abbott test.

Was the Seigen lane Chick-fil-A protest worth it?

Hi guys! Another recent positive here!
Had a very mild fever and the aches for two days, actually got better and wasn’t going to get tested, but then last Friday I lost 100% of my sense of smell and taste. I mean I can’t smell anything.
That spurred me to get a test. Came back positive yesterday. Other than the taste thing, I have very mild chest congestion, but no fever. Not even taking any OTC drugs currently.
Side note: the self swab test at CVS (if available) is really easy with only very mild discomfort. Not a big deal at all.
