John works at a company, they are Constellation Undiscovered inc.

Dewey worked at a company called Inlimitunity Beyond Inc. He was recently hired by UCI and is now a coworker of John's.

John: This is how we do things at CUI

Dewey: Well this is how we did things at LBI

John: Well if you did that so well over there you got fired, I guess I should take direction from you.

Your company names and acronyms don't match. Also, this is a terrible thread. That's coming from a guy who does nothing but make terrible threads.

I don't post much, but I had to sign in to tell you that this is the dumbest fricking thing I have ever read on this site.

You should seriously consider posting less and/or deleting your account altogether.

They're just spacefillers. I just felt inspired to make a half-assedly conceived microparable about a clown who thinks the world is the problem instead of said clown not agreeing to work in said system when signing up. The subject line just seemed sure to catch some OT attention.

There are things to be said about individuality and going against the grain to discover a unique method of attaining success or creativity. That is entirely different from granting scientific and practical credence to someone in the workplace. Specifically im terms of attaining a greater efficiency in production of profits; it is an entirely different story when someone with half-assed references tries to share "industry secrets" from a place they were expelled from. Note that I am assuming said person was fired for incompetence, which is the most important or purely self-evident of disqualifiers IMO.

Yep, no way to learn something from the new guy.

You pretty much have everything figured out.

Also, how shitty is your company that it is hiring a known incompetent person?

That makes two of yall now.

It's not a question of how shitty a workplace situation is as much as it is ironing kinks out in a stiff linen from a promising new addition to your throw blanket collection.

So you're saying the way a company that hires people who were fired from their last job for incompetence is obviously doing things in a better way than company that fires incompetent people?

And John seems like a douche, though my option might change depending on the tone of Dewey's remark.
