She went online. It does not tell you why the flag is ther, but tells you you have to call the number to pay the flag and get the registration renewed. She cannot get anyone on the phone; she has an appointment today at the local OMV office to try and figure it out.

I had an employee who had a repo on her account years back that wasn't even hers. She could prove it was not hers, the creditor even said that she was NEVER even a customer or a co signer for anyone. They kept her running in circles for almost 2 months trying to straighten it out. The local DMV types were of less than zero help. The people in Baton Rouge were not much better. Finally had to get the state police involved

Don't do that.
Instead, shoot for incurable, spontaneous, sporadic diarrhea and an otherwise long, healthy life.
Or, as I do......hope they stump their pinky toe on a random day of every week for the rest of their lives. I don't reserve this for DMV folks. Hell, our DMV is pretty good comparatively.
