Why would I? You've got it all figured out.
FYI, there's no benefit to eating 5 meals a day. That bit of broscience has been outdated since 2009

The day I take diet advice from this guy is the day I eat a lead salad

ah, real humorous. I bet you think that's a smack down. I never suggested any sort of salad to even eat. Hyperbole's is all you got. You came here acting like a fricking know it all and have had to share any sort of advice for the OP.

and by 5 meals, the 2 "meals" during days are really just little healthy snacks, not pigging out meals. But hey, batman knows why we're wrong and knows everything better but shares nothing.

What is the purpose of eating five times rather than just two or three?
Posted on 10/15/15 at 11:16 am to Chad504boy
you are 100% wrong and should go read the studies linked on the leangains website. mouton is not agreeing with you, he is laughing at you.
there is zero benefit to eating more meals per day. ZERO.
there are benefits to going long periods of time between feedings though. but in the end, a calorie is a calorie. adjust macros and go from there.
the only way to cheat the laws of thermodynamics is through keto and again the amount you are doing so is insignificant.
IF IT FITS YOUR MACROS period.

I'll tell you the number one thing you need to focus on is CONSISTENCY.
Forget all these crazy diets, complicated workouts, etc. Find something that you can, and most importantly, WILL do consistently for a long period of time.
It's really really easy to lose weight. Don't let all these complicated strategies fool you. Just pick the one that you think you can stick to, they all work. The real problem is people just don't adhere to it.

Eat less calories than you expend = weight loss. Can't get more simple than that.
There's no magic diet or secret supplement. Discipline is all you need.
Happy now, frickboy?

able to eat smaller proportions during meals when your body isn't as starving for nutrients. Keeps your body from having a starving feeling. Possibly increases metabolism. A way of life that's more conducive to long term stability.
But hey, give whatever advice you want. Tell him to eat twice a day, small meals and go starving the rest of the day for a lifestyle. See how that works after 12 months.

Watch calories and exercise. I fast once weekly for aging purposes. Give your gut a break for a day and I'll guarantee you'll feel a difference the next day at your age.

I hardly gave any advice that was against that. I never recommended some fancy name diet or anything extravagant. You're fricking with the wrong poster in this thread if you have a disagreement based on this amateur bit of information.

How can it be 2015 and some still believe you need to eat 5x per day and limit carbs after 6pm?
Just lol at low IQ ppl

I am not laughing at anyone. I used to think the same thing. Heck I would freak out if I had to go over 3 hours without eating something.
