if you like Scotch, try Aberlour as well. Its a great single malt. Pricey but worth it.

I'm ignorant on the matter. Someone learn me about putting ice in scotch.

You don't need any if the Mountain Dew is cold enough.

That's an exaggeration.

Wonder how their prices compare to our ABC Stores?

I have no idea. I got a regular sized bottle of Wild Turkey 101 the other day for $15, not including tax (came to be $17 iirc) and that was at a special permit store, not ABC.

Damn. Yeah, the ABC store price for 101 is like $27 for a liter if I remember correctly.

Find some W.L. Weller 12 year old. Very nice, smooth, drinkable wheated bourbon made by Buffalo Trace. Four Roses yellow label is a smooth lower shelf pour but only 80 proof. The Weller 12 is a 90 proof pour.

I'm a Maker's girl myself. Either neat or with 2 cubes of ice.

My personal single malt favorites:

Balvenie 21 year - amazing if you can find/afford it
Lagavulin 16 year - the best if you're smoking a cigar and or want to be Ron Swanson. By far the smokiest scotch I've ever had.
Caol Ila 12 - still smokey, but get this if you don't want to go broke buying either of the two previous scotches.

Just got back from Scotland, and they do prefer to put a splash of water in the glass, but they also want to enjoy what they drink, so you be the judge.
