I didn’t say it was a bad thing. Just a justifiable reason why there’s still a discernible difference between 47 and 30 in a relationship.

About Me - I was born on Halloween night and spent my formative years on a commune in northern California’s backwoods. A childhood without television gave me a great love of books and the worlds I found in them. I wrote my first book, an adventure story starring my cat, at the age of seven. Sadly, that work is currently out of print, but see the Fiction page for current and upcoming publications. I am a longtime practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, have no tattoos, and live on Orcas Island, upper Washington state, with my husband, Mark Ferrari, along with seventeen twenty orchids*, baskets of interesting seashells, a frog pond, and slightly fewer books than this time last year.

shite, she was crazy before they got married. Poor guy
She definitely wasn’t in a good place mentally and emotionally, but how on earth did he not see that?
This won’t be a popular thing to say, but I’m assigning fault at 50% hers, 50% his.

I think she's playing a little fast and loose with the term "Trophy Wife":
That's a classic participation trophy if I ever saw one.

This is why I fear the trusting of a woman, but I can't seem to shake the desire to obtain it.

Short and to the point. Well stated.

This woman is a terrible human being. I can only imagine the smug look of satisfaction she had as she wrote that. What a twat.

But I’ve gotta question ol’ boy’s judgment if that’s what he was willing to marry given her description of how fricked up her life was pre-marriage.
Either he is hideous or she was inexplicably a smoke show back in her 20’s.

My wife and I got married when I was 20. We’ve been together for 18 years.
My advice...listen. And watch. Very carefully. Women love expressing themselves so if you’re really paying attention, she’ll reveal to you everything you need to know about who she is and what her character is like.

That woman is truly awful.
She used that man for his money, then divorced him when he was old, and took his money.
And she thinks that makes her some sort of hero.
Really an awful story, almost beyond belief.
Where are the people in her life telling her how deplorable her behavior is?
