I just witnessed someone admitting to stolen valor

I’m sitting at Papadeaux in the Dallas airport with a group of women sitting next to me. I overhear the one closest to me claiming that she gets her flights upgraded by calling in and telling them that she’s a disabled veteran. Said she’s done it several times. Once took a flight with 3 others and claimed that her and another were both disabled veterans and her child was special needs so that they could all sit together. Then followed by justifying the claim by saying the kid did take speech when he was 3.
I wouldn’t be shocked at all if her child was retarded because she sure as hell isnt a rocket scientist.
Really rubbed me the wrong way. They just left so it doesn’t smell like cocoa butter anymore.
