can't wait for the cold vaccine that comes from this
no more runny noses and annoying coughs
and anyone that has ever uttered "why should I take a vaccine for a virus that has a 99.9% chance of survival" should ever be allowed to take it

Don't need to get vaccinated for a virus i already have built up immunities for...unless those immunities aren't there.
Should get it 3 months or so after testing positive

Anyone who doesn't worship at the altar of Trump is progressive filth according to this board. They cannot grasp that someone may actually be a moderate that hates both parties right now.

Yeah, your average OTer is capable of that

Given how many OTers have married batshit crazy women, I'd say that's accurate.

I got it in October/November of 2019, before it was cool. Never got tested for it though. But i shared all the symptoms. The strangest thing was the losing of taste and smell. Made a duck and sausage gumbo that week and by the time my taste buds returned, the gumbo was gone.

Well, considering i play it fast and loose with the Governor's decrees, and i shared the symptoms...i'm making the educated guess that it is likely i had it. Do you think this virus only showed up in January?

He sounds like one of those dumbasses that swears they had the flu....but never got tested so have no idea if what they had was in fact influenza or one of the several other respiratory illnesses/viruses that also circulate around the same time as the flu.
But those dumb frickers will keep saying "oh i had the flu".

While it may be possible, it's not very likely. I had all the symptoms and was sick for about a month in late Jan early Feb and I still doubt that I had COVID and it was much more widespread at that time.

most people have and still only 0.06% of the state has tested positive

it may have been around before then, but I seriously doubt it was widespread
the chance that you had COVID in Oct/Nov of 2019 is going to be absurdly small
you more than likely had one of the countless other respiratory viruses that spread during that time of year

Why? Considering this virus is largely asymptomatic, and those that get it, get what equates to a sinus infection, why would you think this virus wasn't here long before January? The US death totals have remained largely unchanged this year.

Why?
I had Covid. Was "sick" for two days. Felt like a bad sinus infection. Lost taste and smell for a few days after that. Had 3 positive test results. I have no idea who I caught it from, was wearing a mask like a good little drone. No one that I was in contact with in either my office or home tested positive.
Why should I get the vaccine? If my having had Covid is only good for three months how does the vaccine protect me longer than that? Do I have to get the vaccine every 3 months? If I had no complications from actually getting Covid, then why subject myself to the possible complications, though rare, of getting the vaccine?
I am not anti vaccination, I have been vaccinated for other illness and my child is fully vaccinated.
