I’m pro Trump policy wise, but there are a few legit answers to this.

Punishments for companies that have discriminatory hiring practices have been loosened,

Transgenders have had their role in the military reduced.

I actually know a transgender that has had problems getting their passport renewed because they transitioned in between renewals.


Now that being said, if you want to have hiring discrimination, that’s fine, I just won’t use that company if I know about it. If a company doesn’t want to serve African Americans/Hispanics/Gays or treats them poorly, they’re welcome to it. I’ll never give them business, but I think they have a right to be an a-hole.

I’m pretty sensitive to people going through transition, but I also think that believing your a different gender than your genetics say is a mental disorder. There’s no two ways about that. While I completely respect your beliefs and desire to transition, I don’t find that person to be in their right mind and should not have a job that has fellow lives on the line.

The passport thing sucks on a personal level, but your literally changing your name and gender and creating a new person that doesn’t exist. I want that to be easy, but I’ve got effed over by the government for having a name easily misspellable.


All that to say, if you’re looking for reasons to hate Trump on LGBT issues they’re there, but easily and rightfully brushed aside. Facts paint that he’s been very friendly to the community.

science proves these people are mentally ill and shouldnt have some types of power. I mean there are examples of women failing under pressure when in high levels of power.

Most of those are saying “hey, sexuality isn’t a protected class.” Not anything that is actually AGAINST LGBT people. But you could argue they enable private citizens to discriminate more freely.

Again, if you want to be an a-hole to minorities, you’re welcome to it. I’d like it to be made public so that I can know who to avoid.
