I just moved back to Louisiana. Is there a DMV open anywhere for me to get an LA license?

Save the time and go to a tittle office or an express dmv

Go to the Express and pay the fee. Then marvel at how a private business is run versus a government office.

Keep the vehicle registered where you were as long as legally possible so you don't have to be subjected to our insurance rates.

Go to Big Easy Notary & Title on Hwy 59. They handle DMV transactions.
You will need to call them first and make an appt, however. I tried to go there last week and get my registration renewed but was met with the recording of abbreviated office hours due to the scamdemic.

DMV in Mandeville in shopping center with Fazzios DO NOT GO THERE
Go next store to the Title Co., much faster and more friendly, people in the DMV are not nice
