So you feel bad for the insurance company who gladly takes your premiums in hopes you don't use them?

I have to admit I feel a little guilty taking such expensive meds.
Don’t feel guilty at all. If it helps, take care of yourself.

How long have you been taking this? I’m curious to see how well it works. Hope you feel better soon!

1. Why?

2. How costly?

If a prescription costs $1200/month, a mere 10k people taking it would net $144 million a year.

A new study in 2020 estimated that the median cost of getting a new drug into the market was $985 million, and the average cost was $1.3 billion

I love it when people think they know the pharma industry

ETA: Don't do this, or at least talk to your doctor first. At a minimum you'd need to titrate off over a few weeks.

I think I may stop taking it

From the Rexulti website:

It’s all illusory.

It costs $1Mm on the open market but I’ll settle for 12 bucks because you look like a good guy.

So much for just paying foe shite you need. Third party payer. Yay.

It’s all a money scam.

Especially when the 'discount cards' are readily available on their website if you look. $500 prescription available for $5, but you have to go to the website and get the card.

I'm not sure how much research is done by Universities and higher education, but it seems it would be beneficial for Big Pharma and consumers alike to counter research costs with this method to lower the costs the consumer pays.

Somebody has to pay insanely high drug prices so somebody else can get it for free.

Care to guess who gets it for free?
