If willing to work we have opportunities. Knowledge of steam/condensers? Post a contact.

Bro, just go fishing. There are tons of great bass fishing lakes in your area.

Exactly.

You retire, take over the 401k, get the lump sum or annuity pension from the company along with a few $K per month as contractor on a job you can without being micromanaged.

Why did you "retire" if you still need a job?

Some work due to financial necessity. Some choose to work due to boredom. I'm retiring in 4 years. I won't HAVE to work, but I probably will anyway just to keep from shriveling up and dying.

There is a huge market right now for solar installers with battery bank installation experience. It's fairly easy work if you can get a crew together installing the panels and MPP unit and battery bank with a transfer switch combined with a fossil fuel generator.

You can make a ton of money if you can put a crew together and sub-out to the right contractors.

The first line of his post?

That can mean he wants to find a job/career to keep busy rather than because he needs the income.

might have retired before Bidenomics sent us in a downward spiral economically.

It's hard for retirees to recover from a 30-50% increase of expenses across the board
