Automatic Jeeps run the same gearing, 4.10 was just an option for auto Rubicons - at least that was the JK way.
JK automatics came with a choice of 3.21 or 3.73 but you are right Rubicon's came with 4.10 or it was at least an option.

I can go on and on about the level of dishonesty I experienced from the dealers that FCA made no effort to make right but I don’t want to totally derail the thread. This is the parts list from my latest visit to the dealership to give you an idea of what I’ve been through

Is your Jeep nodded at all?
Do you work your Jeep or is it a mall crawler?

Then your dealer covered outside of warranty or trail use wasn’t the cause. Trail use and abuse is absolutely used as a disqualification. Pulleys have nothing to do with off road capabilities either.

No, you cannot.
I absolutely can. It’s not that hard. Rubicon’s don’t have anything special or particularly heavy duty. Most guys that do anything of merit rip out anything the rubi adds anyways

Just 255/70/r17 Cooper St Maxx tires (same width but 1 inch higher than stock) winch and a roof rack. No other modifications. I don’t hot rod my Jeep or take it through mud but I have taken it to Moab & Ouray and across National Park, BLM and Forest Service roads all over the country. It’s seen a lot of dirt roads and a few Jeep badge of honor trails but l’m a 4-low 3 gear guy when off road. I follow the path of least resistance to get to where I want to go and don’t beat my rig.
