And it'll only cost you $1000 in maintenance every 10,000 miles. Once it passes 100,000 that'll be upped to $1000 every 5,000 miles.

Okay so maybe that's slightly hyperbolic but the RS Audis, M BMWs, and AMG Mercedes can be expensive as hell to keep running in top condition.

Infiniti q50 hybrid. 3 series arent any good. Same concept as the CLA. With infiniti you get approriate luxury, but have to endure the sterotypes with it. S4 would be my 2nd choice

Thanks for letting us know that you have no idea what you're talking about The 3 series pretty much invented sports sedans.

Recommending a hybrid?

Love my Audi. Now that I have an S model there's no way I'd buy a regular Audi.

The S-line is nothing more than a appearance package is it not? It's akin to the Msport on BMW. Both offer little if any performance minus a couple millimetres lower in height.

It's really cool - my last boss had one. The interior wood blew my mind. Was so fricking luxurious.

That's not quite right. I'd say it slots right in between the two. You get better drivetrains and better suspension, but not at M level. THey don't make a factory car to compete with the M3 for example.

I didn't think they're was an engine difference between the A5 and A5 s-line package?

A S5, sure but not A5 sline package.

I assumed the post you were quoting was referring to an S model, not an S line. My bad.

Not going to give you the driving experience of the German cars, but will win with reliability and maintenance costs. Depends on what you're after. The IS F sport looks pretty good IMO, but not sure it's at S4 or 335 M line levels.

I've got an Acura now so I'm familiar with the reliability and maintenance costs and I like that. I guess I just go need to test drive those three and see which I like the best. I've never driven a BMW or Audi so I'm curious as hell.

Nothing like a German car's driving dynamics. Lexus feels floaty in comparison in my opinion. I'd say Acura slots in between the two.

Germans are completely different in execution from the Japanese. And even in the German arena they are different. Audis in general are centred around luxury first performance second. BMW is the opposite offering more sport. Just depends on what you want.

Your Ten Best Car Company Customer Service Stories

quote:

9.) “Hop In The Car”

When this reader’s 2011 Audi S4 showed signs of needing some very serious and expensive work, his dealer’s service department made sure he would be getting the proper care he deserved right before his warranty ended.

Audi service pulled through just this past December. I had a warning light for the sport differential in my 2011 S4 come up and gave the dealer a call. Turns out, I was on my last day of the factory warranty. Now, this was at about 4:45pm, and the dealer was about 30 minutes away. The service guy told me to hop in the car right then, and that he would keep a tech there to address the issue, since they usually left around 5pm. I headed down there, met the rep, who got me a cup of coffee and said that as long as they plugged the car into the computer, the problem was technically within the warranty period. They had me come back in a week for a more thorough diagnostic, for which they gave me an A6 as a loaner, for free. They found that the whole differential would need to be replaced, along with software updates, an ECU flash, and a routine service. A week later, the part came in, and they kept my car for 2 days, for which I got another A6 as a loaner. After all this work and time, my balance was precisely $0.00. They saved me $5000 for the part, and about $2000 for the labor. I was a very happy man after that.

Pretty much. You have to get the S badge to get the suspension, engine, etc of the performance series. S Line is basically trim.
